Southern Otways Sustainable (S.O.S.) is joining forces with Geelong Sustainability for the biggest ever community solar program in the Barwon South West region. This is your chance to reduce your power bills while helping create a clean energy future.

Our Apollo Bay region will be included in the Geelong+ Community Solar Program.

Designed by Geelong Sustainability (in partnership with S.O.S) to increase renewable energy across the Barwon South West region, this program leverages the buying power of multiple communities, including Apollo Bay and Southern Otways, to provide quality, affordable solar and battery storage for homes and businesses.

You’ll get leading product warranties and quality components in a system specifically tailored to you. Using the best local installers, the program will also make a positive impact on the local economy.

Every installation helps our local community.

For every local home or business that takes part, a solar panel will be donated to a non-profit community project in Apollo Bay or nearby!
